Baby Time

I don't have the pictures up yet, but Amy and I are pregnant! We are very excited, Amy is due Jan. 27th. We've had two ultrasounds and the baby is doing great. In 7-8 weeks we should be able to find out the sex, we'll let you know.

June 2008 - Dental Missions in Equador and Galapagos

We spent a week outside of Shell, Ecuador in the jungle doing dental missions with Missionary Ventures. Amy and I did lots of extractions, tried lots of interesting food, including guinea pig, and spread the Gospel to the Kichwa indians. We had a fantastic group and really a stellar trip overall. We visited the Andes, the Amazon, the equator, and Nate Saint's home and plane. After the mission trip, Amy and I flew to the Galapagos islands for a few days. That was pretty incredible as well. We saw tons of penguins, sea lions, marine iguanas, giant land tortises, blue footed boobies, and I even dove with hammerheads.

Mt. Whitney

The climb was three days long. It was a great experience, but unfortunatley we did not make the summit. The weather was beautiful, but on summit day the winds were very stong and the guides decided to turn back. I'll have to attempt it again next year.

Grand Canyon

When I left to climb Mt. Whitney, Amy went to the Grand Canyon with her parents.

This was Amy's first time to the Grand Canyon. We'll have to go back together.

Well, it has been a while since I have updated this, so I'll go back a little to cover everything. In Feb., Amy and I took a 3 day mountaineering course in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. It was the first time for both of us to the state. We did some ice climbing, general mountaineering, and summited Mount Washington, known for "the world's worst weather."
